Rob Bell + Prima + You
Fresh Theatrical Experiences. Fueling Oxygen For The Soul.
“I came for the laughs of an office play. I left with a new story for my life.”
-Audience Review
Sweet rebellion, senior style.
When their beloved wobbly dessert gets replaced at Golden Springs Senior Living Center, everything goes deliciously off the rails.
Allies form. Secrets spill. A full-scale dessert revolt erupts.Wildly entertaining and delightfully unhinged, this new comedic play explores how we face change when life gets wobbly.
No Jello. No peace.
A World Premiere by Rob Bell
An exclusive subscriber and donor experience!
Before its 2028 world premiere at Prima, Play With A Play offers a rare chance to hear the not-yet-announced next new play early – not at its final arrival, but at the living, breathing beginning.
Professional actors give the work its first life aloud, creating an experience that places you unusually close to the creative spark. The evening then opens into live conversation with both author and performers, exploring what is stirring in the piece, what is resonating in the room, and what it means to meet a story this early in its life.
This is more than attending an intimate, ground-level reading of a play. It is a front-row seat to the creative process itself as new work takes its first breath, and to take part in the dialogue that helps shape what it becomes.
