Thank You

AS WE CLOSE OUT THIS YEAR, ONE TRUTH STANDS OUT:

PRIMA WOULDN’T BE

WHAT IT IS WITHOUT YOU.

The moments we’ve shared—the lights rising on stage, music lifting our spirits, lives enriched— are all thanks to you. You believe in something bigger than any one of us. You understand how creativity and connection bring us closer, make life more meaningful, and remind us of what it means to be fully alive.

Your support isn’t just keeping the lights on; it’s lighting the way forward. While many arts organizations face major challenges, Prima has grown, creating a place in Lancaster where people of all backgrounds can gather and experience joy, performance, and connection. Thanks to you, lives are being invigorated by fresh theatrical experiences.

This year, your generosity has made remarkable things happen:

  • Off The Yellow Brick Road—a fresh reimagining of Dorothy’s story.

  • Rated P For Parenthood, Golden Era, and Illumination—productions that brought us laughter, wonder, and connection.

  • A free outdoor concert, The Music of Queen + Journey, where over 2,000 people gathered to celebrate music and community.

  • An impactful NextGen Initiative, giving young people hands-on experience and lifelong skills.

  • The Beloved Community Project for BIPOC artists and The GreatList, which offers dignified access to subsidized tickets—now a model across the Commonwealth.

And we’re just getting started. With your help, 2025 can be even more extraordinary:

  • We aim to provide 4,000 students from underserved backgrounds the chance to experience Prima, many for the first time.

  • Expanding Prima’s internship program to welcome more young people, fostering growth and discovery.

  • Hosting the East Coast premiere of a new play in collaboration with author Rob Bell, We’ll Get Back To You, bringing one of today’s most thoughtful voices to Lancaster in person.

  • Plus, exciting productions, including a family-friendly, immersive You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, and a vibrant 80’s By Request Live for a fresh, interactive experience.

SUPPORT TODAY SHAPES WHAT’S POSSIBLE TOMORROW.

Your charitable investment will allow Prima to welcome world-class talent and help make Lancaster a launching point for bold new works that invigorate lives. Every dollar goes into experiences that lift spirits, spark joy, and remind us of the beauty of this life.

As we close this year, I invite you to be part of something lasting. By making a contribution before December 31, you’re fueling Prima’s mission and investing in a brighter, more connected future. Your gift helps shape the 2025-2026 season as well, and may also reduce your tax burden

Thank you for being part of this journey, for believing in Prima, and for helping build a vibrant community. Join us in contributing to make 2025 a year filled with the most invigorating experiences!

WITH GRATITUDE AND JOY,

Mitch Nugent, Founding Executive Producer
